The café’s location near the boardwalk adds to its charm, with patrons appreciating the comfortable and thoughtfully decorated space. Across reviews, the quality of specialty beverages such as lattes, teas, and hot chocolate is frequently complimented, alongside freshly baked pastries that are generally well-received. Friendly and welcoming service is a common highlight, contributing to positive overall experiences. Some feedback notes concerns regarding recent price increases and a perceived reduction in pastry size, alongside occasional comments about espresso drink consistency. While these critiques suggest areas for refinement, Pearle's Cafe remains a favored local destination for quality food, comfortable ambiance, and attentive service.
Had a wonderful experience at this café! I tried the latte and hot chocolate, and both were absolutely delicious. The croissants were fresh and perfectly baked — especially the chocolate, butter, and almond ones. The service was friendly and welcoming, and the place itself is very nice, cozy, and relaxing. Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to and highly recommend!
We came in looking for a cup of hot tea. We had previously tried the hotel’s restaurant (Isabelle) and loved it so we figured a coffee shop by the same people would more than likely be awesome too! We tried the Earl Grey and Tropical Green Tea, both of which were really good. The space is beautifully decorated and perfectly situated by the Burlington board walk. The pillows on the bench are welcoming - we’ll be back for sure. Unfortunately, we had just finished lunch when we realized that they have tasty looking sandwiches, salads, healthy bowls, and other snack items. We did purchase a bag of Taro Chips and French Baguette which we’ll use with our hummus as a snack later tonight.
It was a great morning for a bike ride. We stopped at Pearl’s just for a coffee, no goodies this time, we already had plans for breakfast. The service was good and the staff friendly. We really enjoyed just relaxing on the patio and we could have walked down to the lakeshore but it was already getting warm and we weren’t sure we’d find a shady place there. I had a cappuccino and my partner had a regular coffee. Both were good. We’ll come back next time we cycle downtown and I’ll be sure to try their goodies. It’s a nice place and the location is great and the coffee was good. I recommend you give it a try.
Such a lovely experience at Pearle’s Cafe! I had the strawberry matcha latte and a cookie and both were delicious, but it was the friendly service that really stood out. Definitely will be back!
My favorite cafe for a long time. Thank you for delicious food and good atmosphere. And friendly faces. But Noticed recently pastry decreased in size. That was also after the prices went up significantly... You can't do both.. chocolate croissant, previously my fav, is 2/3 the size and x1.3 price now. Not worth it. also, quality in espresso drinks could be improved. Machine itself or training but espresso should have CREMA, latte cappuccino foam should be thick and not sink after 5 sec and also be hot and matcha should not be steamed together with milk, it ruins foam and makes it taste grassy. If you take it to go you wouldn't care except for the temp. Doesn't match the otherwise good food quality. Tooo crowded now with too much stuff to sell and too many people. Chocolates are second to none though. Fresh! Thank you
Pearle Cafe is always buzzing and serving up delicious drinks! My go-to order is the Salted Caramel Latte—it never disappoints. They are always introducing new drink specials and for the most part they are spot on. No matter what though, you really can’t go wrong with the Salted Caramel Latte!

This cafe is a second home for so many people. I’ve made friends and just feel so comfortable here. The vibe. The coffee and pastries. All fabulous. It’s dog-friendly ( my favourite part) The staff? Another favourite part. Every single staff member is warm, open, friendly and hilarious! They get to know you and, truly become friends. On weekend mornings there are people, dogs, little ones and babies. It’s a community.
